Asset Locator / Lone Worker

Lone Worker monitoring systems allow users to call for help in an emergency. In many situations it is not safe or appropriate to use a phone in the conventional way, so smartphone apps and dedicated devices are used instead. The control room operator who receives the message can assess the situation and provide a response for the lone worker.The GeminiSense Asset Locator / Lone Worker Module provides a fast and accurate location fix and allows the operator to listen in to the audio to verify the activation. User’s location, voice and SOS message are communicated as a high priority alarm. The voice call is automatically answered with instant recording and logging.

Audio Server/Tele-Care Module

Automated communications with the control room can bring huge reassurance and a vital contact link for a wide variety of personal, domestic situations; persons with disabilities, or with cognitive impairment, the frail, elderly or those with life-threatening medical conditions.
The GeminiSense Audio Server/Tele-Care module works in conjunction with an SOS button, or fob, provided to the user. In case of need, this device can be can be activated, creating a personal alarm at the control room. The user’s details—including health and medication data—are presented together with operator instructions. The operator can progress the call with informal carers, healthcare professionals, emergency services and other supporting resources available as appropriate to the incident and the situation.

Web Portal

Enables sites, colleagues or 3 rd parties outside of the control room to access permitted parts of the GeminiSense system for administration and information. For example engineers can place sites on test, view the log for events received and put back in service. Sites/Customers can update their protocols or keyholder information. Requests that would otherwise take up significant operator time can be placed at callers fingertips for greater efficiency and better service from your operation.

Task Scheduler Module

Many control rooms tasks need to be completed on a recurring and regular basis. Scheduling, managing, verifying and logging these periodic tasks centrally creates a considerable admin burden, not core to the control room’s mission and function.
The GeminiSense Task Scheduler is a calendar-based module which ensures that recurring or ad hoc activities are not overlooked. The calendar opens at the current date and time, with pop-up messages to remind the operator. Tasks can also be configured to appear in the alarm queue. Tasks can be scheduled down to 15-minute intervals—a timeline view gives a highly configurable overview which can easily be scrolled by dragging the slider.

Key Manager Module

A common challenge for security operations is the issuing and tracking of keys.
The GeminiSense Key Manager Module provides a logical and integrated solution, linked to the GeminiSense database and alarm handling tasks. The operator validates and authorises the contact person to whom the keys are to be issued. Keys taken are then logged with a timer return in the Key Issue Workstation and returned in the same application.
Keys Overdue alarms can be configured for operator follow-up.

SIP Phone

Integrating your phone system with GeminiSense delivers valuable efficiency and feature benefits. With single click dialling to keyholders, police and rescue services can all be called from the workstation, reducing error and increasing efficiency. Contact numbers are embedded within the alarm handling process and all logged as part of the same incident.
The GeminiSense SIP Phone reduces operator fatigue and desktop clutter, and notes made during the call can be logged to the customer account. A simple online phone directory allows quick look up of customer contacts rather than manually searching records. All audio is recorded, logged to the customer record and can be exported in WAV format.
